New CertConnect tool streamlines certification management

CCO is introducing CertConnect, a new myCCO portal feature offering real-time certification tracking and simplified compliance.
CCO Certification is proud to announce the launch of CertConnect, a powerful new feature integrated into the existing myCCO portal, going live on September 17, 2025. Built in response to growing demand from employers, training providers, insurance companies and regulatory agencies, CertConnect brings real-time status tracking, streamlined certification notices and improved transparency to the entire certification lifecycle.

CertConnect is not a standalone system—it’s an enhancement within the established myCCO portal. The myCCO portal already provides CCO candidates and certificants with robust tools to sign up for exams, schedule tests, view results, access their certifications and become credentialed to host exams. CertConnect builds on that foundation by enabling employers and organizations to efficiently track and manage the certification status of their workforce.
Employers and stakeholders can now create an organization within the myCCO portal, with multiple users or managers attached to it. From here, they can search for and connect with individual candidates or certificants using their unique CCO ID. Once the connection is approved by the individual, the organization gains access to the candidate’s real-time certification status—including current certifications and expiration dates—complete with photo identification.
Why CertConnect matters
In today’s regulated work environments, daily verification of operator credentials is not optional. OSHA mandates that employers verify and maintain up-to-date records of operator certifications. Stakeholders have grown accustomed to relying on VerifyCCO to track candidates each day, which is time-consuming and prone to entry errors. Employers and industry partners no longer need to rely on VerifyCCO, internal spreadsheets, or custom-built tracking tools. With CertConnect, certification status is seamlessly updated in the portal. From the moment a candidate earns a new certification to the instant a certification expires, organization managers are notified automatically via email.
