CICB opens new facility in Deer Park, TX

Featuring six high-tech classrooms, CICB’s new training center was designed to support a wide range of crane industry training and operator certification.

Crane Inspection & Certification Bureau (CICB), a national leader in crane and rigging training, has officially opened the doors to its new state-of-the-art training center in Deer Park, offering a next-generation educational experience for crane operators, riggers, and lifting professionals.

CICB’s new Texas facility is up and running.

The new location includes six high-tech classrooms, a crane operation simulator, and expansive practice zones outfitted with the latest rigging and lifting equipment. The Deer Park location joins CICB’s existing training centers reinforcing its commitment to advancing crane and rigging education across the country.

“We have assembled a team of industry veterans with extensive experience across a variety of sectors,” says John O’Connor, Texas General Manager for CICB. “Their expertise enhances the training experience, ensuring that each session is both informative and applicable to real-world scenarios.”

CICB’s Deer Park location is specifically designed to support a wide range of training needs across the crane Industry, including preparatory training and testing for CCO certification. In addition to foundational and advanced certification courses, the center offers custom training programs tailored to company-specific equipment, jobsite challenges, and compliance requirements.

With industry demand for certified crane operators, riggers, signal persons, lift directors, inspectors, and others in the lifting industry on the rise, CICB’s expanded capabilities will support local employers in building safer, more skilled teams.
