Hirschmann welcomed customers, suppliers and local government officials to Chambersburg, PA to celebrate the company's worldwide reorganization.

With the launch of Hirschmann Automation and Control (HAC), the company integrated the Automation and Network Solutions (ANS) and the PAT Electronic e ontrol Systems (ECS) Divisions. Plants in Chambersburg and Germantown, Maryland, were combined to improve efficiency. The renovated plant will serve all Hirschmann business in North America and could become a model for operations in Europe and Asia, the company said. In 2004 Hirschmann Group turnover was just under ($365.9 million) and the total workforce worldwide is 1,800.
