Green Sticker by CraneSafe debuts as the first standardized approach to periodic crane and load-handling equpment inspections in the United States.

CraneSafe USA is rolling out its Green Sticker by CraneSafe (GSCS), the first standardized approach to periodic crane and load-handling equipment inspections in the United States. The Green Sticker by CraneSafe launch represents a significant milestone for the construction and crane industries, according to CCO Certification. For the first time, crane owners, site owners and employers have access to a standardized inspection framework designed to deliver consistent, reliable, and defensible inspection outcomes across equipment types.

This event represents the first time Green Sticker by CraneSafe will be formally introduced to the industry and marks the official launch of CraneSafe USA’s standardized inspection approach.

CraneSafe USA was formed in 2024 to establish and deliver periodic inspections for cranes and load-handling equipment nationwide. The program includes a rigorous credentialing process of independent inspectors and the use of standardized, detailed inspection forms tailored by equipment type. Together, these elements ensure inspections are conducted with consistency, transparency, and technical rigor which supports safer operations and greater industry confidence. Green Sticker by CraneSafe delivers verified inspection outcomes through:

  • CCO-certified inspectors who meet rigorous qualification requirements
  • A robust standardized inspection process
  • Detailed, equipment-specific inspection forms
  • A transparent and defensible inspection framework aligned with industry expectations

“Our vision is to create a nationwide Gold Standard inspection process that improves the safety and reliability of cranes and load-handling equipment,” said CraneSafe USA leadership. “Green Sticker by CraneSafe represents a meaningful step forward in elevating inspection quality, accountability, and confidence across the industry.”

The mission of CraneSafe USA is to provide credentials for independent inspectors and create standardized periodic inspection forms by type of equipment which helps to ensure inspections are not only completed but completed consistently and credibly.
