Cincinnati-based Fenton Rigging & Contracting, Inc. has purchased local controlled rigging contractor Hensley Industries, Inc. The acquisition is part of Fenton’s long-term growth plan.

“Although Hensley Industries has been a competitor of ours, we’ve always held them in the highest regard,” said Fenton CEO Timothy W. Besl. “Acquiring Hensley gives us the opportunity to enhance our first-rate personnel, increase our fleet of specialized rigging equipment and add to our customer base. All of these benefits fit directly into Fenton’s growth model by allowing us to grow with all Fenton and Hensley customers while providing unparalleled expertise and innovation.”

Fenton comprises three divisions – rigging, contracting and shotcrete. The rigging division serves the industrial, commercial and contracting sectors. The contracting division primarily serves railroad and power generation plants. The shotcrete division specializes in concrete repair and subsurface stabilization.

Hensley Industries specialises in heavy industrial construction. The company provides turnkey installations of machinery and equipment in automotive plants.
