UK lifting and transport specialist Allelys added a new Enerpac SBL1100 heavy lift hydraulic gantry system.

Its 1,070 tonne capacity (on four legs) and 12 metre maximum lifting height make it the largest in the company’s fleet of eight telescopic hydraulic lifting systems. Greater flexibility is now possible to meet challenges where high lifting capacity is needed but space is limited and conventional lifting equipment can’t get it done, the company said.

“Our investment decisions are shaped by the challenges our clients face and the capabilities our teams need to solve them. The SBL1100 will give our engineering and operational teams another option when developing safe and efficient solutions for complex lifting projects,” said Richard Beardmore, Alleleys managing director.

“Its capacity and lifting height will allow us to support a wider range of requirements, while giving us greater flexibility in restricted or challenging project environments. This investment reflects our continued commitment to providing our teams with the right equipment to work safely and deliver to the high standards our customers expect,” Beardmore continued.
