New range-topping Max810 trailer

Faymonville’s Max Trailer extends its range upwards with the new Max810 semi-low loader.

Its loading platform, with a basic width of 2.75 metres, can have six or seven axles and it can have single or double extension. It can either be coupled to the hydraulic gooseneck or can be extended with two-or three-axle front bogies.

“With the Max810 we have created a vehicle that offers maximum flexibility with a minimal tare weight – all in familiar Max Trailer quality,” said Mario Faymonville, Max Trailer product manager and sales director.

It uses 17.5 inch pendular axles, on a 1.5 metre wheelbase spacing, to give good manoeuvrability and stability. The suspension stroke is 600 mm, steering angle is up to 60 degrees and the loading height is 800 mm. The fifth wheel load is 38 tonnes and it is designed to be pulled by 6x4 or 8x4 tractor units.

Adaptability

“Versatility was especially important to us: The Max810 can be adapted to a wide variety of operating scenarios – from heavy duty transport in road traffic through to demanding terrain conditions,” Mario Faymonville explained.

Hydraulic functions, including driving height and alignment, can be controlled from the radio remote control. Also hydraulic are loading ramps to allow loading heavy machines.

“The concept of the Max810 stands for cost effectiveness, user-friendliness and technical finesse – a genuine step forward in its class,” Faymonville concluded.
