The purchase from Marine Travelift of the Shuttlelift industrial crane line by Manitowoc Crane Group will not significantly alter the way the Shuttlelift or Grove Yard Boss cranes are marketed or sold, ACT has learned.

In an interview with Tom McCallum in Shady Grove, PA, the director of industrial crane sales, said that the sales process has been seamless, with manufacturing of the Shuttlelift brand continuing in Sturgeon Bay, WI. He said the Shuttlelift line will continue to be marketed by its existing distribution network and the Grove Yard Boss will continue to be marketed in the Grove product line. The purchase was structured so that there were no layoffs or dealership cancellations. The machines will even retain their respective color schemes and market identity.
