Due to its long reach, high capacity, and compact size, the crane has been performing difficult lifts in constrained spaces of the mine, handling jobs that previously had to be outsourced, Manitowoc said.

“The mine staff is very impressed with the GMK3060L-1,” said Ivan Ruiz Arana, project manager at ICSK Equipment.

“They told us that work with this crane can be done much faster when compared to the previous one they were using.”

This GMK3060L-1 belongs to the new generation of the Grove line and was one of the first of this model to be shipped from the factory.
