New Liebherr LTM 1120-4.1 joins Peck Tiong Choon crane lineup

Peck Tiong Choon has expanded its lifting capabilities with the addition of a 120-tonne Liebherr LTM 1120-4.1 mobile crane.

The Singapore-based company adds its most powerful 4-axle crane to support key infrastructure projects.

Singapore-based lifting and logistics provider Peck Tiong Choon expanded its fleet with a Liebherr LTM 1120-4.1 mobile crane.

With a lifting capacity of 120 tonnes and a 66-metre telescopic boom, the LTM 1120-4.1 is now the most powerful 4-axle crane in the company’s lineup.

“As part of our involvement in major projects like airport expansion, mass rapid transit (MRT) and other infrastructure developments, we decided to invest in the new LTM 1120-4.1,” said Teow Seng Pay, managing director, Peck Tiong Choon Transport and Logistics. “As the most powerful 4-axle crane on the market, it offers the capacity we need. At the same time, it was the right moment to modernise our 100 tonne class.”

The company, which also operates a range of other mobile and crawler cranes, cited the model’s compact design, outrigger flexibility and reliability for everyday operations as key benefits.

The new crane will be used for short-term construction projects as well as daily crane rental operations.
