05 July 2010

San Jose, California-based King Crane Service is expanding, moving from its facility on Old Bayshore Road to a larger and more modern facility at 1045 Commercial Court, in San Jose. The new facility has a larger yard to accommodate King Crane's fleet of rough terrain cranes, boom trucks and crawler cranes, the company said.

Once situated at its new location, King Crane will be adding new cranes and transportation equipment, as well as hiring additional crane operators, the company said. King Crane's client list includes Pacific Gas and Electric, NASA, Oracle, Stanford University and Lockheed.

"We have been anticipating moving to a larger location for some time," said Brad Dixon, regional sales manager. "Because of the increased demand for San Jose crane rental, we have been growing at a record clip."

King Crane moves August 1, 2010 and will hold a grand opening celebration for its customers in the coming months.
