Irish crane service provider Kavanagh has updated its fleet with the purchase of two all terrain mobile cranes, the AC 4.100L-1 and the AC 5.220L-1 from crane and aerial work platform manufacturer Tadano.

The two companies have a long history of working together and have forged a “close partnership” in recent years. Kavanagh introduced several new Tadano products, including the 100 tonne capacity AC 100-4 and the 220 tonne AC 220-5 all terrains to the Irish market.

According to Tadano, with a long telescopic boom of 59.4 metres and a 10 metre swing-away jib for a total of 69.4 metres, the AC 4.100L-1 “offers the longest system length that can travel on four axles at a 12 tonne load level.”

The company also said the AC 5.220L-1 provides the “longest main boom reach in its class, while the optional main boom extension can increase your reach to 99 metres.”

The delivery of the AC 4.100L-1 and AC 5.220L-1 is a repeat order from 2017. Crane hire managing director Pat Kavanagh said, “The reason we decided on these two models again was that we find their quality, performance, and reliability to be absolutely unbeatable. And we can already tell how the OneTadano strategy is making their excellent service even better.”
