Caldwell expands in-stock RUD lifting points
17 July 2025

The Caldwell Group has expanded its RUD In-Stock program to include more than 170 styles and sizes of lifting points, including the ACP-Turnado Automatic Center Lifting Point and VRS Swivel Eyebolts.
Caldwell partners with the RUD Group to coordinate sales and marketing of RUD lifting devices in North America. A lifting point connects the lifting gear and the load during hoisting, rotation and movement, and the RUD portfolio supports a range of complex lifting tasks.

“Stocked inventory matters in our industry,” said Doug Stitt, president and CEO, Caldwell. “And we are responding to serve distributors better. Our In-Stock program makes us more efficient, smarter and better prepared to serve customers than ever before because it forces us to focus on what matters — supporting distributors.”
The broader In-Stock program includes about 500 items, from lifting beams and pipe grabs to forklift attachments and Renfroe plate clamps, many of which ship within one business day with no extra fees. The RUD additions also include remotely operated vehicle (ROV) hooks for subsea and offshore oil and gas applications, as well as side pull load rings, swivel eye nuts and fall protection points.
“When someone needs it, they need it now,” said Jay Schroeder, regional sales manager, RUD West. “Many times, you can’t anticipate when you have a failure or an emergent need, and it is important to keep the job running.”
