79 Tadano cranes ordered

Saudi-company Expertise Contracting has made an order for 79 Tadano cranes, the biggest bulk order in 15 years for the Tadano’s Zweibrücken plant.
It is the largest ever order from a customer in Saudi Arabia.
The all terrain cranes will serve in a new project for oil production company Saudi Aramco.
Crane models
The order comprises of 50 AC 3.055-1 cranes, 17 AC 5.130-1 cranes, 11 AC 5.250-1 cranes and one AC 8.500-1 crane.
“The cranes from Zweibrücken have a sterling reputation throughout the Arab world,” said Expertise president and CEO Mohammed Ashif.
He travelled to Zweibrücken together with Industrial Services director Mahammad Ashpak to sign the crane contract. Both of them emphasised how important it was that the two companies have a long tradition of working together.
Tadano also sent a team to the signing including Tadano Demag CEO Jens Ennen, Tadano Demag vice president of production Jan Wieser, Tadano Middle East senior sales manager Deepak Jain and Tadano Middle East service technician Benjamin Bernhardt.
“An order of this magnitude is not something you see every day. In fact, we’re tremendously proud of the fact that one of the biggest names in the Middle East decided to rely on our products,” said Jens Ennen.
Deepak Jain added, “We see this contract as a solid vote of confidence in the quality of our products and services from an important customer that we value tremendously.”
